Sunday Seven #8

Sunday Seven is a weekly meme for giving thanks and/or for noting important events in our lives.

1. I am thankful that I found this Sunday Seven meme. It is great for me to take time to sit down and reflect each week and think about the many things I have to be thankful for.

2. I am thankful I found the May Day Weight Loss Challenge. I think it will be just the motivation and encouragement I have been needing to reach my weight loss goal.

3. I am thankful for the beautiful weather we have had for most of the week. Hailey and I were able to enjoy taking several walks this week.

4. I am thankful the flowers are starting to bloom. The daffodils and tulips are looking beautiful and I believe that spring is finally here.

5. We went to the zoo on Saturday. I am thankful for the perfect weather and the fun time we had.

6. I am thankful for email. I am able to keep in touch with family and friends I would otherwise probably lose touch with.

7. I am thankful for my dishwasher. Not that I enjoy doing dishes, but I am thankful it is easier than it would be without the dishwasher.

Train Up A Child

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Hailey was dedicated on Sunday, April 29th.
The invitation to Hailey's dedication stated "Believing, according to the holy Scriptures, that children are an heritage of the Lord, and that it is wholly right and proper for parents to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of Him to whom we must all one day give account."

After the dedication Hailey received some presents. She seemed to really enjoy her gifts.
