Fun Monday

I haven't participated in Fun Monday in quite a while. The few times I did participate it was lots of fun, so I've decided it's time for me to start doing it again. This week is being hosted by Ooh, a shiny pen and here is the assignment she gave us:

"Music plays a vital role in most of our lives. It is everywhere. I want to hear the ONE song that is you. The song that whenever it is heard, you smile. I am not looking for the soundtrack of your life, just that one song. Your friends hear it and think of you. You can post the video, the lyrics, the wav file. However you want to post it is great. "

I had a song in mind that I wanted to use- not necessarily because it really describes me, but because it describes something I feel is important that we be reminded of- our kids grow up way too fast. So, I found a video of the song I want to use. It has pictures of someone else's kids and if I knew how to make my own video I'd put pictures of Brooke and Hailey to this song. Someday I'll figure out how to do it.

So now, just listen to the words and if you are an emotional person at all- get your tissues ready.

Now, go and visit Ooh, a shiny pen to see more participants.

Children are our future, our greatest treasure and our greatest responsibility.

Thanks for the tissue warning! I needed it!

You can make a movie like this if you wanted to--I do it each year for the Ashlyn (and now Riley) on their birthday. I use Windows Movie Maker- check your computer, you probably have the program. It is easy. Let me know if I can help at all!

Thanks for the tissue warning. My kids are all grown up now and it's so sweet when they call just to chat, it's like bouncing them on my knee...
