May Day Weight Loss Challenge- Weigh-in # 7

Weight lost this week- .5 lbs
Weight lost since the start of the challenge- 3 lbs
Total weight loss since Hailey was born- 36 lbs

It was another bad week filled with too much snacking and so I only lost half of a pound. I don't know why I do it. I don't even enjoy the snacks because I feel guilty about what I am eating.

So, it's a new week.

  1. I will eat only healthy snacks.
  2. I will continue walking everyday.
  3. I will drink more water.

Time to go check in at Tales From the Scales.

19 pounds to go!

A half a pound
Is still a loss
It's better than a gain!

Just tell your self
You're strong enough
From snacks...you can restrain!

:-) Wishing you a wonderful week!

A half pound is excellent when you are nursing!! You have the hardest job trying to fight your own body's mechanism to keep you from starving. Keep at it, don't go too low cal or your metabolism will rebel. I am so proud of you!!!

Hey, Melanie,
Hang in there. I know it is hard-I have lost 4 pounds overall during the challenge-but stick with it. This is not like dieting back when we were in our "dating days" and we just would try to "Lose three pounds for the party this weekend!" lol It is harder than that, and you can stick with it. :)

You're a mommy, a wife, a daughter, a friend . . . you've got lots on your plate :-) Don't beat yourself up - you'll get there. Half a pound is less than you weighed last week, so be proud! Hang in there!

I echo Jodie's comment. You STILL lost last week. Stick to your goals and next week will be even better!

Half a pound is a half pound less. Be proud of yourself for the total.

Love that you said "will" instead of "try".

Good luck this week!

Don't get discouraged...1/2 pound lost is better than 1/2 pound gained.

woohooo, take the loss and hit the highway for a bigger loss next week. Think of it as, under 20 pounds to lose now too!!! And 36 pounds lost in less than a year, is a GREAT accomplishment! I think, man if I could just stay away from the banana cream pie Dan made and the chocolate that Caleb shares....ya my numbers would be going in the right direction!!! Anyways remember we love you for who you are, not for what weight you want to be! Have a great week~ love ya, Vicki

Well done - celebrate the small wins (not with food!).
By the way love the music.
