Did I Really Do That? #1

The other day, after a long night with Hailey, we were in the car to go to the grocery store. As I looked into the rear view mirror to back up I realized I had not brushed my hair after my shower. Okay- not a problem, I keep a brush in my car for such occurrences.

Then I thought the break pedal felt a little different under my foot than it normally does. And, that was because I didn't have any shoes on.

I can't believe I did that!

Wow, that just sounds like a bad dream! Are you sure you weren't sleeping at the time, too?! You are one tired mama, it sounds like. I hope you'll soon get the rest and relaxation you so desperately need and sorely deserve.

Melanie, sometimes I tend to do that too (but not exactly like the shoe thing). :D. I tend to forget things. Because the baby caring (not to mention the household chores)takes most of my thoughts - and time. Ah, stress.

I hope you'll get sometime to relax and rest. Really.

That is funny! I went to church a couple of weeks ago with only foundation...no blush, no mascara...I looked a little pasty when I saw myself in the bathroom mirror!

LOL oh my... YEAH.. I think you need to get some sleep.. Have you tried anything new yet with her to get her sleeping better??

OH and I have done the hair thing also.. but the worse one I did, Ok this willt tell the world my secret.. I have a tooth next to my front one that Mr Man knocked out by throwing his head back and hitting me when he was about 9 months old.. so now I have a fake tooth there that I put in and wear.. WEll in one of my sleepless stages with Aniston I got up and dressed and headed out to drop Princess off at school and had forgot to put my tooth in my mouth.... OH MY GOODNESS.. I didn't smile or talk to anyone that morning just dropped Princess off and rushed back home..

My Goodness!!! I have put on two different shoes by mistake and not noticed till I got to where I was going -but never completely forgot my shoes. I think it is time for more sleep.

LOL! that is a perfect picture of motherhood!! I have left the house without a bra on before and went to the grocery store. I have gone to Target in my slippers! There are no end to the embarrassing moments!

Oh, long nights stink! The first time we went to church after Ashlyn was born...yeah, we left the house with the door wide open and drove to church with the bible on top of the car (thank goodness for the luggage rack or the bible would have fallen off!) Kids make us a shadow of our former selves...but it is so worth it!

That sounds like typical mommy brain to me! I went grocery shopping with two different shoes a few weeks ago! :(
