Friday's Feast #1
I have seen this meme around on some of my friends blogs and it always looks like fun so I thought I'd give it a try. Here is my very first Friday's Feast!
Appetizer
Name one thing that is unique about you.
I do not like any of my food to touch other food on my plate. It must all be kept separate.
Soup
Fill in the blank: My favorite snack is Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip cookies but I like pretty much everything else too.
Salad
What type of wood do you have for your home’s furnishings?
Oak I guess- but really I have no idea
Main Course
Who do you talk to most often on the phone?
Rich and my mom
Dessert
What level of responsibility do you have in your job?
Is there any higher level than be responsible for preparing a child for the rest of her life? I don't think so- so in my opinion being a stay at home mom is the highest level of responsibility there is.

Great feast for your first time out!
Tee hee...guess you wouldn't like to eat off my plate...I kinda like to mix (most!) things together. But I'm not as bad as my dad. He does things like puts gravy on his cake!! Ewww!

I'm somewhere in between you and Andrea's dad ... lol. I don't mind if my food touch, but there ARE some combinations I tend to shy away from. I have to say gravy on cake is right up there on THAT list :-)

Fun post! Do you own compartment plates? My kids have those . . . my son hates them cuz he likes to mix his food like me . . . my daughter loves them because you CANNOT under any circumstances have the syrup actually TOUCH the pancake until you're good and ready to dip it in there ;-)

One of my step-daughters can't stand her food to touch! I think that must be pretty common. Yes, you're right that being a mom is the ultimate in important jobs. Great feast.

I am the EXACT same way about not wanting any of my food to touch, and I've always been that way. Even if I have, say, french fries and ketchup, and one of the fries rolls so it's touching the ketchup...NO, and my friends will say, "but you were going to dip it anyway", but it's DIFFERENT!
Being a stay-at-home mom IS the most important job there is. I think that all too often SAHMs don't give themselves enough credit for what they do.
