Tackle It Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

It's my very first Tackle It Tuesday. How very exciting is this? I hope I'm doing it right- someone please tell me if I'm not. If I am correct the way Tackle It Tuesday works is that you pick a project of some sort that you need to get done. You take some pictures and then post the project that you tackled. Then you go over to 5 Minutes For Mom and sign Mr. Linky and visit the other participants.

And so for my first Tackle It Tuesday (which I actually did on Monday so that I could post this on Tuesday) I decided to make it possible to use my treadmill again. We have a little room off our laundry room and it has a treadmill and a TV so that I can work out. I used to use it everyday- but that hasn't happened in a long time. Recently the treadmill has turned into sort of a dumping ground where I've been sticking stuff that I don't feel like taking care of. I'm usually a very organized person, so it bothers me how this has been piling up. And since I really need to start walking on my treadmill again I decided it was important to tackle this project.

So, here is my before picture:
Now I know it's hard to tell, but there really is a treadmill underneath all of that stuff.

And now my after picture:
So, now I can actually get to my treadmill and I still have quite a bit of stuff stored in that room. I think that big blue dog and I have many happy treadmilling days ahead of us.

I'm guessing clearing out the room was a work out in itself - so maybe you can start walking tomorrow. Great Job!

Wow, that was a big first tackle! Great job!

Isn't it interesting how our exercise equipment gets to become storage for other stuff? :)

Great tackle! It reminds me of the saying that exercise equipment can become an expensive towel hanger if we don't use it (like at my parents' house when we visit). Happy walking!
