5. No, Hailey- don't bite mommy.
6. No you can not play with your dirty diaper.
7. No, Hailey- Dottie does not want you to put your shirt on her.
8. No- gross, yucky- take your finger out of your nose.
9. No, Hailey, don't put ________ in your mouth.
10. No, don't put your finger in Dottie's ear- she doesn't like that.
11. No, Hailey- don't climb on _________.
12. No, Hailey- Dottie does not want you to check her blood pressure.
13. No, I haven't had enough hugs and kisses yet today- come give me some more.

Isn't it amazing ALL the things they can do that warrant a NO! But those hugs and kisses are always a yes!

I'm not into "kid" things, or everyone and their supposedly cute things their children do - BUT - this is hysterical. Laugh out loud funny.

I LOVE #4.

Hurray for your 5 pounds lost! Congratulations! You must be thrilled.

I think I've said this before but she looks so delightful. She almost looks like she's bouncing in that picture. What a bright spirit. Good for you for not "making" her be "normal"! yay!

I heard once that we say "no" to our kids almost 300 times a day! Not sure if that's true or not, but it can't be too far off.

What a cutie. One day she will thank you for all of those no's.

in child's growth and development stage, toddler's favorite word is NO. No doesn't mean they don't like a certain thing. The best thing to do in this situation is to offer options.
yey, i'm learning something in school or at least something was retained.
thanks melanie for the constant visit.
Haylie is so adorable.
my hugs and kisses to her.

That's the thing about toddlers: they learn by doing.. It makes you wonder how our species ever survived.
