I'm In A Movie!

This weeks Fun Monday is being hosted by Janet at From the Planet of Janet. Here is the assignment she gave us:

"Hollywood has come calling. They want to make a movie of your life story! So here's what I want to read about: Write the brief synopsis of this film that you might use to pitch this project and cast the principal players. Who would play you? You can either cast or ignore significant others, children and/or pets. This is, after all, YOUR movie about you you YOU! Illustrate as needed with casting photos or filming locations. Your life not interesting enough? Hey, this is Hollywood. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story! Leave a message on this post if you would like to participate, and if you would like to host next, next week (March 10).Ready? Quiet on the set ... and ACTION!!!!"

Wow, Janet- that is a really tough assignment. So, the first thing I did was decide who would play me. I went to myheritage.com where they will tell you which celebrity you look most like. Apparently, they think I look like Hayden Panettiere (from the TV show Hero's) and I take that as quite a compliment.

Now for Rich, according to myheritage.com Kim Rossi Stuart looks like him. Now I had never heard of Mr. Stuart before but when I saw his picture I knew he was perfect for playing the part of Rich.

So, that wasn't too hard. Now, the rest of my family will be in the movie also- but because I am incredibly lazy busy I will be leaving it up to the movie makers to decide who will play everyone else.

So, here is my story that will be sure to catch the attention of Hollywood. We are a regular family living a regular life.
We are tired of living in a cold snowy place, and Rich is tired of working a job he doesn't want to be working. So, we sell our house, pack up and move to Aruba. Other than that we don't have any plans. We move and live right on the beach. We live off of our savings account and money we made selling our house. But since we know that the money will not last long we have to try to figure out what we can do to survive.

There will be all sorts of funny things that happen along the way which will be written by someone else. Preferably someone who is funny. And in the end, since this is a movie, we will win the lottery and live happily ever after.

The End.

Now, go and visit Janet to see a list of the other participants. Hopefully participants who are a lot more creative than I am!

I can see this....actually, this is quite a lot like a movie I'd be in too...tired of the snow, tired of the same ol' same ol' job....moving to the beach ...yes!! [altho, we did retire, and we DID move to the beach, but we weren't lucky enough to pick Aruba. Now the lottery? Ya, baby!!!

My 'movie' is going on right now...you don't want to miss the opening scene.

Life in Aruba....I do believe I could handle that. Are you casting fellow Fun Monday participants to take part in your movie? I could be your next door neighbor!

I like the idea of moving to Aruba. Except during Hurricane season.

Hey - I noticed your weight loss rewards. I may have to try that after my baby arrives!

I never thought to go to that site - what a grand idea! Been there before, but I always get the oriental girls, for some reason. I would watch just about anything in Aruba.
