Fun Monday
Here are this weeks instructions from our host Swampy:
"FUN MONDAY: ABC's
Back in my school teaching days, I used the A-B-C technique of making connections and remembering things. For instance, if we had studied Ireland, one assignment would be to list all 26 letters of the alphabet down the page and add words and/or phrases remembered about that unit of study:
IRELAND:
A - Antrim (County of)...
B- Blarney Stone, Belfast...
C - Cork, connacht, crystal...
D - Dublin... "
So, I decided to do my Fun Monday ABC list with foods that I like to eat. So- here we go:
A- Apples
B- Broccoli
C- Cauliflower
D- Donuts
E- Eggs
F- French Fries
G- Grapes
H- Ham
I- Ice cream
J- Jelly
K- Kiwi
L- Lasagna
M- Mashed Potatoes
N- Noodles
O- Oranges
P- Pizza
Q- Quesedias
R- Rhubarb pie
S- Strawberries
T- Tacos
U- ????
V- Veal
W- Waffles
X- ????
Y- Yogurt
Z- Zucchini

I like Rhubarb too. It should available any day now. Perhaps, you might like quail, but a "u" has me stumped.
I like the ABC technique for learning things. Great idea!
I have rhubarb growing in the corner of my yard.
My late sister's favorite dessert was rhubarb rolls. I should make some this spring ---
I did an alphabet on food, too. Unfortunately I think I ate it all at once, too.
great list...and now I am hungry!!!
Wow! I could never have thought of something for the whole alphabet....maybe for x you can do Xtra something (yeah, I know that isn't how to spell it)....great list!
Ah! THAT's where I left my grocery list - on your blog!
You are the 2nd to do food and to make me hungry! Good Job!
I like EVERYTHING you have listed here. Plus, it gave me some ideas for my grocery shopping today.
Thanks for playing the game. Not sure about "Q" unless you might like quail...and "X"...just xtra weight gain if you eat this list.
Have a great week.
umbrella drinks?
I love pizza! But you can keep the rhubarb. :)
Thumbs up for rhubarb too! My elderly aunts and my grandmother always had a rhubarb plant in their gardens. However , they called it pie plant--no mystery there, right?
This is a great list, even if it did make me hungry. Now I need lasagna.
yeah! i did food too!
Wow, I should have thought twice about reading your list, hungry as I am... ;-)
I'm rather wishing I'd been short and sweet~I will be having my first picking of rhubarb very soon!
I share your list! Happy FM!
Yum
I love mashed potatoes too. I can't think of any U or X foods either. :)
Great list.
I am trying to remember the X word in my kids' food alphabet. I think it is Chinese for watermelon.
Hey! How about Udon noodles! Yummy!
I have a great new carnival on Tuesdays. Hope you'll come join in the thankfulness!
Xigua (pronounced she-gwah) is a Chinese name for
watermelon. Watermelon (or xigua) is a very popular summer fruit in China
